Kim Erik Larsen Tops In Norway!

The
two last rounds of the
Norwegian National Series
were held this weekend.
It was a close race coming in to the last two rounds with Sebastian Kartfjord (Felt) leading just a few points ahead of Redline's, Kim Erik Larsen. Kim Erik being the defending champ and also the National champ this year was feeling the pressure. Saturday the race was on Sebastian's home turf. The race was held at Sandnes BMX track, the world championship track from 91. Sebastian gave Kim Erik a race for the money and he came out on top. Kim Erik 2nd and Ådne Orstad in 3rd.
The overall victory was still in reach for Kim Erik he just had to win the race on Sunday.
Anders Grøndsund (Redline) crashed and the battle was the same as Saturday, with Kim Erik and Sebastian going head to head. Coming in to the final it was all set for drama. After adding up the points they were both tied with the same points. So the winner would be the one who crossed the finish first. Kim Erik got the holeshot and pushed Sebastian out of the ideal line in the first turn. Kim Erik railed it and Sebstian was trailing behind the rest of the race.
In 3rd came another surprise Andre Fosså Aguiluz (Redline) 15 year old racing elite. He Is mixing it up with the big boys and he will be a guy for the future.

Congratulations to Kim Erik Larsen on taking home the title 2 years in a row
